Horizontal Gel Electrophoresis

Choose from our wide selection of horizontal gel electrophoresis boxes including Labnet Enduro™, IBI Scientific, and Owl Separation Systems. Whether screening a few samples or performing a high-throughput analysis, MIDSCI has a horizontal gel box to accommodate the gel size and number of lanes you need. Multiple comb styles are available including standard, multichannel compatible, and wide-lane sample prep combs. The Labnet Gel XL Ultra V2™ is a space-saving, stand-alone system that has the power supply connected directly to the gel box without lead wires.

Vertical Gel Electrophoresis

Choose from our wide selection of vertical gel electrophoresis boxes including Labnet's Enduro Vertical PAGE System is modular allowing PAGE, electroblotting and 2D gel electrophoresis to be carried out in the same tank, simply by changing the inserts. Users can purchase only the parts they need, or a complete combined system for a cost savings over buying all three systems separately. The Ma-GEL-In Universal Vertical Gel System from IBI Scientific has everything you need to pour and run 10cm x 10cm vertical minigels, and the versatile gel capture system also allows the option of using 8cm x 10cm pre-cast gels as well. Throw in the IB95000 Western Transfer Module, and you have a complete system for Western Blotting.

Labnet Enduro Power Supplies

Power Supplies:
Labnet’s new Enduro Power Supplies meet a wide range of applications including DNA, RNA, and protein electrophoresis, blotting, and many others. Two models are available with voltage ranges to 300V and current ranges to 3000mA. Operating modes include constant voltage or constant current with automatic crossover. In addition, the 250V model offers a constant power operating mode. IBI Scientific’s compact power supplies cover a wide range of requirements for electrophoretic separations. The SH-500 is ideal for DNA or RNA submarine gels, PAGE & SDS-PAGE, multiple horizontal gels and mini blotting applications. It features a built-in timer, constant voltage or constant current, and a unique Gel Saver mode (1mA output to prevent diffusion after the timer expires). The easy-to-use SH-3000 offers constant voltage, current and power, making it perfect for DNA sequencing systems and SDS-PAGE applications.
